Covid Misconceptions & Tory Donors

The main problem with the alternative media’s response to the covid crisis was that they confused contrarianism with critical thinking. When it was announced in early 2020 that there was a pandemic - the alt media en masse simply took the stance - "no there isn't - if the TV and the MSM News says there is, then it stands to reason that the opposite is true." - This is not critical thinking, it’s not even free thinking - it’s a mantra. So as the evidence stacked up that some sort of worldwide pandemic might be afoot the alternative media doubled and tripled down - swearing blind that no such virus had been proven to exist, or that mainstays of medical procedure used for thirty years were now not fit for purpose, that they knew of absolutely no one that had been affected by this so called disease and that the whole thing was pretty much a hoax. Some even went so far as to convince themselves that viruses themselves don't exist - bless your heart.

Covid Misconceptions Debunked: Examining Common Misinformation in the Alternative Media

• The alternative media's response to the COVID-19 pandemic was often characterized by contrarianism rather than critical thinking, leading to the spread of misinformation.

• Misconceptions such as the non-existence of the virus, the harmfulness of 5G, and the unreliability of PCR tests gained traction, despite lacking scientific evidence.

• The alternative media's adherence to these misconceptions has hindered their understanding of current world events and their ability to hold governments accountable.

• The claim that the SARS-CoV-2 virus has not been isolated is easily disproven, as numerous independent laboratories worldwide have successfully isolated and studied the virus.

• The notion that the virus genome is faked during the isolation process is unfounded, as the virus has been extracted directly from lung fluid and urine of infected individuals.

• The source of this misinformation can be traced to individuals like Andrew Kaufman, who despite lacking relevant qualifications, presents himself as an expert and spreads false claims.

• To combat misinformation, it is crucial to critically evaluate information, verify sources, and rely on scientific evidence rather than unfounded assertions.

Covid Misinformation in the UK: The Role of the Conservative Government, Donors, and JTRIG

• The UK government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic has been heavily influenced by its donors in the petrochemical and petrochemical refinery industries, who prioritized their own financial interests over public health.

• Rather than implementing effective measures to control the spread of the virus, the government engaged in a strategy of misinformation to downplay the severity of the disease and create chaos, which benefited their disaster capitalist backers.

• The government spread misinformation through its media outlets and individuals who appeared critical of the government but were actually promoting narratives that aligned with the government's agenda.

• The alternative media, unknowingly, amplified these misleading narratives, exacerbating the confusion and allowing disaster capitalists to thrive.

• The ultimate goal of this misinformation campaign was to privatize the National Health Service (NHS) by overwhelming its staff and facilities, while blaming the alternative media for the spread of disinformation.

• The government's actions demonstrate a deliberate attempt to control and discredit critical voices, particularly those questioning the government's handling of the pandemic, using strategies like memetic warfare and Cambridge Analytica.
